So glad you are here.
I’ve always loved helping people, and yoga is just that. I began taking yoga classes in my 20s while working in the corporate world to complement my regular fitness training. I needed to stretch! After my first yoga class, I kept coming back each week. Soon, it became my favorite practice. Giving my body the stretch and strength and my mind time to chill. Now that I've raised two healthy teen boys and have been practicing and learning for over 20 years, I’ve learned to listen to my body, follow my gut, and not stress how I think I should look, be, or move. I want to feel strong every day, not ache when I bend or squat to pick something up. We need to honor ourselves and our whole body in the present, and yoga does that. We can hold space for ourselves and each other and allow ourselves to be, let go of holding tension, and connect, learn and grow. Sharing and teaching others yoga and mindfulness brings me joy.
I grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Connecticut after I married the love of my life, my husband, Tripp. We have two boys who are now teens, and I continually develop my love of yoga. We enjoy traveling, sports, and spending time outdoors, anywhere in nature.
I hold a 200-hr RYT Yoga Alliance certification, Yin Yoga certification, Kids Yoga certification, and Level 1 & 2 Reiki healing. I have a steady personal practice and am passionate about studying how yoga helps connect and strengthen the mind and body.
Join me for a class - see if it’s a fit for you.
